Young Living oils for my C sect Childbirth
Finally the time has come for delivering the baby!!!! Still can't believe that we will have our 2nd child coming soon! Mommy so happy and also scared at the same time, what will happen to my body post surgery, how our life will change after the 2nd one arrive, will my love and time enough for the 2 children, will my baby healthy and pretty, etc etc etc and 1000 other thoughts, but at the same time also can't wait to hold my dear baby girl in my arm and to welcome her to our small family.
But mommy has to be strong, especially when daddy also scared too!
Because of my 1st baby delivery history and also baby position, this time we're doing a planned C section as suggested by my gynae. After all night long 10 hours fasting, off we go to the hospital with full of smile n prayer. I wanted to share some oils that I bring to support me mentally and physically.
In the taxi on the way to hospital, I rubbed Valor and Joy oil over my heart.
My oils preparation for 4D3N hospital stay:
My happy story from this delivery:
Day 1: my colostrum has come! So happy that it came so early, I remembered mine was came only in the 3rd day for my boy.
Day 2: All cable was taken out from me early in the morning!! Fiuhhhh... feels so good that none of the drip needle or whatever poked me anymore. I feel hungry all the time, and eat A LOT!
I can slowly walked around my room, went to the toilet and took a good shower by myself.
Day 3: My pediatrician updated us early in the morning that the baby jaundice just kicked in today, but as long it's below 9 is still safe!
So I gave my baby diluted Lavender a very tiny bit in forehead, and soles.
Then Gynae came to see me today and check the surgery wound, and she said, I think you are very healthy! You can go home today instead of tomorrow if you want! WOWW... Can't wait to go home!!
So the doctor had a test on my baby's jaundice level before decided whether baby can go home or not. Thank God it was only 5.6!
By noon, we're homeeeee.... ^o^ and psssttt.... we saved around $2,000 from the estimated hospital bill! I believe I got to thanks Young Living for this ;)

My oils preparation for 4D3N hospital stay:
- Ningxia Red 60 ml packet: to support my immune system and also very nutrisious at the same time, good source of antioxidant, very good for the body especially when i plan to breastfeed the baby
- Lemon: to help my body to clean the anaesthesia medicine that I took during surgery and all the post surgery medicine
- Vitamin C chewable: to support my respiratory n immune system especially when lack of sleep
- Lavender, Peace and Calming: to help me sleep n relax in hospital.
- Lavender: to help to reduce baby's bilirubin level (that caused jaundice)
- Frankincense: to anoint the baby
- Joy, Stress Away, Valor: to handle emotional rollercoaster of a newborn's mommy
- PPP: to balance my crazy hormones
- Ginger: to give warm feeling to my post surgery body
- Deep Relief roll on: for my sore body, which is everywhere
- Fennel, Basil, Geranium: to boost my breastmilk production!
I rotate these 3 oils, but mostly I used fennel. Just rub in breast area, but not the nipple. I put the oil after breastfeeding. Then I wiped my breast with warm towel before breastfeed the baby just in case she doesn't like the smell. I put in the morning after my c sect, late afternoon I can see my colostrum already there! So happy.... - Melrose, Roman Chamomile: for clogged or sore boobs, which I know can be very painful
- Helichrysum, Geranium, Tender Tush: for cracked nipple (just in case) luckily it didn't happen to me this time, maybe because of my Gentle Baby application during pregnancy.
- Helichrysum, Frankincense, Lavender, Cistus: for my post surgery scar, and cistus for recovery of uterus. Apply in my lower abdomen.
- Bottle of V6, to dilute every oils since I'm breastfeeding, and also to dilute all the oils I used for my baby.
*Among all the oils that I brought to the hospital, the bold colour are the oils that I get to used during my stay.
